Draft Notes

Here is the story concerning the Brewers first day in the 09 draft. I will somewhat summarize below. Story

With thier first pick (26th overall) of the first round, the Brewers took Indiana right-handed pitcher Eric Arnett. After recently finishing his junior season, Arnett was named Co-Big Ten Pitcher of the year.

The Crew also used two supplemental picks to grab outfielder Kentrail Davis from Tennessee and right-hander Kyle Heckathorn from Kennesaw State.

In Round two, the Brewers had back to back picks, and they took outfielder Max Walla from Albuquere Academy and catcher Cameron Garfield out of Murietta Valley HS. In the third round they drafted SS Joshua Prince from Tulane.
